Isn't perspective amazing? Everything in this world that appears to be concrete can be seen as something completely different to another person. Like a concrete building. No matter which side you are looking at, you are looking at the exact same building. But each time you see it (depending on where you are standing relative to it) it looks different, but we know for a fact it is the same building. Or do we? Has anybody else thought of something similar to this?

Perspective is what molds us, but experience is the vehicle that takes us there. Everything in life is allegorical, some more hidden than others. Everyone that you encounter has a different story to tell. Their stories will help to shape your outlook. Your viewing lense will open a bit more when something interest you no matter what the scale of that thing is.

yes sure i have.
different perspectives are like different realities
in ones mind aliens exist one knows that they are real
but another knows that they do not exist
things are pretty things are ugly
a picture says a thousand words in each persons mind each perspective the picture is saying something different
i think more people would get along if they would stop and think where the other person is coming from
different people different outlooks
many arguments are spurred from having different beliefs
but why does it matter that the other person thinks differently believes in something else
in ones mind the ruby slippers exist
but in anothers they do not exist
they argue
one knows they exist the other knows they do not
they cannot see how the other thinks that way how they can look at it that way how they could believe it to be that way
more often then not they both do not care to view it from another angle

Think about this...truth is the most unbiased perspective, the rest is relative.

To understand what I'm saying you must distinguish between truth and facts, and see perspective by its truth content, rather than fact content. A trite example...US invasion of Iraq is a fact that is lacking in truth.

There's an old story that deals with perspective.

Three blind men, who had never heard of an elephant, were walked up to three sides of an elephant and asked to describe it.

The one at the head felt the trunk and said "It's like a snake."

The one at the back felt the tail and said "It's like a rope."

The one at the side felt a leg and said "It's like a tree."

You get the idea.

What gets me about perspective, is the abstract nature of it......

In the abstract.....

That building can be construed as any particular kind of building.... But, what is inside of it that counts the most...... All those rooms and compartments.....

These are abstract instincts of a spiritual mind to put into perspective what kind of life it is dealing with......

The building.... is the structure of man.....
