Typing problem?

Question

I can type real slow, because i just peck at the keys, yeah i do put my fingers on the home row but i have difficulties seeing the bottom row and i can't do real well getting to the top row (let alone the numbers) is my pose a little off?

real typists don't look at the keyboard (they look at the screen)
