I was wondering, for specific,editor in chef of BAZAAR magazine, glenda bailey's salary.

Just in general, how much would an editor or creative director of a top-notch magazine make???

Probably a few hundred thousand dollars. The absolute top editors make about a million per year - that is the salary of the editor of the New Yorker. That is extremely unusual, though, and most EICs would make from high five figures to low six figures.

Well newspaper editor is not a high paying job. It sounds too fun to make good money, but I could be wrong. My father was a newspaper editor and we were poor when he had that job. I have no clue. A magazine of that calliber may make more probably, but those jobs are few and far between.

Probably $1Mill +, Did you see The Devil Wears Prada, it was movie about an intern who worked for the editor-in-chief of a major fashion magazine....good movie..you should watch it, if you haven't. Happy New Year!

i know that seventeen magazine editor in chief makes about 300-600,000 a yeah so the bigger the magazine the bigger the paycheck

as quickly as I reached adulthood, i found out my objectives lied in journalism....I even have been hoping to sometime run my own magazine (which I do have a attractiveness for) ...yet i'm no opposition as of now...i'm in the interior maximum banking field....
