You are still rather "early" in the pregnancy, especially if this is your first. The first "flutters" tend to be rather irregular but as you get into your second trimester they become more regular and stronger.
I know I was well into the second trimester with my first pregnancy before I felt the baby.
The second time around, I definitely felt the baby move at 13 weeks, but I recognized it as a baby flutter and not gas.
Try not to worry. If you're overly concerned, you can have your OB/GYN check you with a doppler to get the heartbeat.

I am 26 weeks pregnant, but when I was 13 weeks I started feeling the baby too. And just like you, when I couldn't feel the baby, I kind of started to freak out. So I called the doc (cuz thats what they are here for right). He told me not to worry about it. At 13 weeks the baby is too small to be able to feel him/her every day. they can be facing towards the back and kicking towards your spine, it really depends on their position. I wouldn't worry about it too much right now, but as you get farther along, you should be able to feel the baby more often. I think I stopped feeling the baby from like 15 weeks til almost 19 weeks... and now she just doesnt stop!!
Hope this helps!

i have never heard of mothers feeling their baby move at 13 weeks. A 13 week old fetus is still developing, especially their arms and legs. Maybe you just want to feel the baby move so your mind plays tricks on you or something.

13 weeks is too early to feel fetal movements. You usually start to feel movement in 18-24 weeks into the pregnancy. Im sure your baby is fine. You shouldnt worry or stress yourself Im sue everything is fine. Probably was jus gas in the first place :)

you won't feel your baby move on a regular basis until about 20-22 weeks. Your baby will start moving around 8 weeks, but it still only weighs ounces and would be nearly impossible to feel at all.

Again I say that it's prolly just gas bubbles. 13 weeks is too early to tell if it's your baby. But don't be in too big a hurry. It will move plenty enough in the coming months to make you sleep deprived

Its unsual for women to feel kicks and movments when they are as far gone as you, maybe you just have mind or something? If you are that concerned make a early appointment with your GP
