No. I can't read spanish, but I did some more research. He hasn't retired. He has announced that he WILL retire AT BARCELONA. He also said he will play with Barcelona 9-10 years more after June 26, 2006. Here is the full report.

Ronaldinho has said he wants to end his career at Barcelona. "I want to retire in Barcelona," he said. "I will continue for many years with Barca. I am at a great club with which I have left many years on my contract, I am happy and I believe that the club as much as the fans are with me.

"Any player would like to be in my position.

"To play another ten years is something I'd like. I do not have to play longer than that. What is clear is that I will continue with Barcelona for many years."

Yeah Univision had that up, but now they took it down. Maybe it was a prank? All of the other news places in english and spanish hadn't posted anything about this, such as ESPN or ESPNDeportes. So I don' t think it is true

He retired and was tired of dealing with the press and he has all the money he needs and money isn't the most important thing to him.

I don't believe, and that's not proof enough because I can't read Spanish.
