By the way........ in a converstation means oh, let me tell you this while i'm thinking of about it. for intance, "by the way, did you know that New Year's is celebrated in the USA Dec 31st and it's New Year's eve! AND they party and eveyone kisses someone at midnite when it's the stroke of midnite, ringing in the new year?"

and yes, by the way is another way of saying "for your information"
or "did you know....."

If it's said I'll meet you by the way....... I would ask which way? coming or going? or i need more inforamtion.

on the by and by means in heaven.

I'll be standing there by the side of the road, and when you near I will see you from there, So by the way side I will be, and you can see me, by the way as you pass me by.

By the way, If you remember that you care, to share a word after you have passed, just remember where I was by the side of the road and you can return to tell me what you wanted to say.
