Hero: Spidey - 'cos he's a bit of an underdog. The poor bastard cops everything, and I can relate.
Villain: Venom. He's just cool. He's got the whole Eddie Brock vs the Symbiote thing going on, so there's just a hint of nobility about him sometimes - not as indiscriminately evil as Carnage. I like villains with more than two dimensions.

HERO: The Incredible Hulk. There are a number of different reasons, but I would say the simplest is because he is the strongest one there is. :)
VILLAIN: Dr. Doom. Why? Because you can't get a better, more inconic comic book villain than Dr. Doom.

Because he can do things that some of the others can't. And he is so unique in a cool way.
Hero: Punisher
Because he stands up for the little guy when noone else does. And he has a way cool arsonal of weapons. :)
