Well they enjoy their sin, they are in the dark and do not want to be accountable.. they dont respect themselves so they cant respect others.
You should not throw your friends away... as the Lord does not want us to do that.. However.. I would be careful as to how much time you are spending with them.. .. spend more time praying for them..
I will lift them up in prayer as well.. it is quite sad... if you think it bothers you.. can you imagine how it breaks the Fathers heart!
But God is good! pray for them to be set free from this lie they live in.

Some parents think it's better to be "best friends" with their kids, then give them boundaries. These parents seem to have taken it even further, they should have grown up, before they became parents !!!!! Due to the way they live their lives, they are not in the position to set an example, or teach their kids how to be decent people !!! Being a Christian has nothing to do with this. All you need is a set of morals !!! Somewhere along the line they missed out.... I think they just don't really care about much of anything, except having no responsibilities !!!! They aren't doing their kids any favors......................................................

Why Christian? I may be one but I think anyone with common sense would tell you that those people are not parents, they are breeders, just like dogs. They have no respect for themselves or their children. It may be not the way of the world but it goes on. May be those people need mental help and their children as well. This is not uncommon to see this in the world. In Africa there are adults giving guns to children and making them into assassins. and look at Saudi, and the other Arab countries they teach their children and adults to hate all Americans and Christians, and Jews and teach them that is okay to kill us and steal our possessions because we dont believe in Allah? How crazy is that? What you are saying is valid but it is worse in other places.Let us pray to G-D that it will stop before too long so we can all live happily in peace.

You can stop with "smoke weed with them". The Christian restriction is 1 Cor 10:23-24 and smoking weed with your children is definitely restricted.
This is not a parent issues. They were the ones that cause this behavior by their bad behavior. Do you really consider these parents Christian?

ya that is definitely teaching them no respect or morals. I think thats really weird to smoke weed with your child. You can still be a cool parent and set limits for your children. I think that is a complete lack of effort on the parents part due to laziness or just to avoid confrontation with the children. weird, weird, weird.

Yes, I've seen this -- and as far as this Long Term Single Parent is concerned ... this is NOT an example of being a parent -- only someone who is training the next 'generation' of drug, alcohol, and in other ways abusers ...

A simple lack of morals, I follow the Catholic catechism and seem to be doing great in life and raising a fine daughter.

People think that it is OK now or are just to lazy to challange their kids. It is the beginning of the end of a decent civilization. That is why Muslims hate us so much.
