do you believe in the trusts that work for the education of the kids in rural areas. eg- the classmate note books say that if you buy their books then Rs1 in added in the fund box for the education of these kids. do you believe in them or you say it just a dumb way of making money.

Having an education makes it easier to explain to others what you need. If you are ever in a situation where people speak differently learning their meanings is easier if you understand, how we speak and write.
Just being able to describe what we are trying to say in words on paper is a life saver, Sometimes writing what we mean to say helps us get others attention that have an education too.
Writing our thoughts down so we see what we think we mean helps us clear up our own intended meanings as well so we are better communicators.
Education is a must for survival in a modern society. Going back to the hills I found it even is becoming more important in those distant small communities.

Nowadays, everyone wants their child to have an education. Especially in the poor areas around the world. In India, you have your upper class and lower class. In society, they don't refer to that type of stereotyping, but it's there. In the upper class, the parents encourage all of their children to get an education. In the lower class, they don't have enough money to send all their children to school, so they try to save up enough so that at least the oldest child can have an education and pull the family out of poverty. The rest of the children usually end up helping the parents around their job (most are farmers).
What that idiot said up there is just being sexist and really applies to the Islamic middle east such as Afghanistan, not India.
Plus, it's an old school physiology that men are better than women. That type of physiology has begun to disappear in this generation.

and what about boys?
This is what we need to change, first think about society not only about girls.I don't condemn the idea of women education but education is must for every Indian no matter a girl or boy.
Please don't relate education with employment because when you talk about society our system is yet to understand that in 90% families still man is bread and butter provider to the family.
When you give employment to a women you add some more income to the family in which man is already earning because still a girl can not marry a boy who is not earning.
Let us break this "paramapra" and then talk about employment to a girl.(if you relate education with women employment).
As per my opinion if you are giving employment to a women you putting income of three family At risk.
1. The Man have got job in place of her.
2. This man would have married and provided bread and butter
to an unemployed girl.and
3.The Girl to whom this women's place her husband would have
married because this Girl will not marry an unemployed man.

education for girls is like air for mankind. A civilised womb shall bear a civilised citizen.Nowadays there is an increased awareness regarding this matter. The govt. organises campaigns to bring about a change in the social system prevailing since ages.

Hello
Education is the transmission of civilization.Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.

HELLO ADITI, I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT, BECASE WHEN A GIRL ABLE TO GO TO SCHOOL, HER PERNT SHOULD SEND HER. BECAUSE IF SHE WILL NOT GO THERE, SHE WILL WEST HER TIME. I THINK SHE SHOULD ALSO LEARN SOME THING THAT SHE CAN USE AS JOB. BECASE IT IS NOT SURE THAT SOMEONE, SHE MARRY WITH, IS QUIET GOOD, OR GOOD HUMAN, THERE ARE MANY CASES WHERE A GIRL USED TO ABUSED OR CRITISEZED. SO EDUCATION A MUST FOR GIRLS. ALTHOUGH OUR GOVERNMENT IS GIVIING FACILITIES FOR GIRLS EDU. BUT IN SMALL VILLAGE AS MAIN, PEOPLE DONT KNOW ABOUT IT. THERE NO ADVERTISEMENT ABOUT IT. AS BOY, GIRLS ALSO HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE WITH COMFORT. SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO FOR MANY GIRLS WHO IS LIVING IN SMALL VILLAGE & ABOUT TO GO TO HELL AFTER THEIR MARRIAGE.
