How hilarious. I don't care how old it is, and it's supposed to be the oldest in the world, it's still a stick! Can you imagine paying that much for one and why?

Hell, why didn't they just give me the money, I could have made better use of it. Help some homeless and/or abused people, plus my family and friends. Just think how many people I could help!!! A lot of hungry people, too.

I can imagine but that's because hockey has always been a huge part of my life... And some sticks have been used by some of the greatest players in history.

While i personally don't have millions of dollars to spare for a stick, i can certainly understand why one would.

I wish I could throw 1.9 million dollars at a stick. Boy that would be a different world than I am living in now.

If my brother had the money he would. He collects Hockey memorabilia and has a very large collection. Even I have an autographed hockey stick, but I got mine for free.

He was eyeing it the last time he was here and always pretends like he has never seen it before.

They have that much money to throw around they must really want it. Good for them.

Yep, well...I suppose we all have the things we love. Seems ridiculous to me, but...maybe not to someone else.
