Depends on the type of fish as well as their age, but there's really no hard rule. Overfeeding, however, can degrade water quality as well as the overall health of the fish.
I feed new fry 2-3 times daily, young juvenile fish (and my saltwater fish) 1-2 times daily, and adult freshwater fish once per day (fasting them every 5th day); and only as much as they can consume in 30seconds. My puffers, on the other hand, are fed only three times a week.

Once a day will be sufficient for them. We should always feed them, which they can consume within 5 mins. More than 50% of fish dies because of over feeding.

I have had fish for years and I've always fed them 2X a day. Just don't over feed them at each feeding and they'll do fine.

I belive their both right. Just don't feed them to much if you do it twice a day. Fred Rogers always fed them once on TV.

my older fish- every other day. Younger fish-once a day.

you should feed them two to three timmes aday. Each time you feed them give them only the amont of food they can eat in three minutes.
