i have a few faces of those who have passed away from my life, but they get blurry and undefined. i think i may over-romanticize them, but i think thats good. remembering the times you were happy are more rewarding the times you were slighted.

I did that when My grandma died. I stared at her hands, I could never forget her face but I remember staring at the details of her hands, I used to like to look at them when I was a kid so when she died I burned the image in my head. I can still remember. and every time I visit my dad I get a good look at him and make sure the last words I say to him are "I love you" just in case I never see him again.

Yes, I do it all the time....with a few people I've literally traced their face with my hands to remember that way as well. There is one old ex-boyfriend I have whose face I can still feel if I sit and think about him long enough....it's an amazing feeling.

No. The face soon changes with time. I made a point to really take in and remember the feeling of his lips against mine and the way it felt to be held in his arms.
