Its happened twice now and I'm really scared!

The first time I was in an acrade (in my dream) with some friends, then this old woman apears from nowhere and grabs hold of me. She wont let me go, her strength is unbelievable... the more i struggle to get free, the harder she squeezes. Its like she's crushing me. The scary thing was, I could actually feel the pain as if a bus had been dropped on me... I couldn't breathe or scream out. The woman is really old and evil looking. My friends try to help me but she's just too strong for them all.

I woke up, gasping for air, covered in red marks, scratches, bruises and a hand mark on my side... I didn't do this to myself, I don't have long nails... I was aching for days after it happened... I went to the doctor, he couldn't explain it.

It happened again, but in a different location and it was a man who grabbed me. I'm so scared... and confused... how can a dream hurt me and phisicaly mark me?

I'm terrified!

Please help!

Okay, there could be a completely logical explanation for this.. or it could be something that alot of sceptics will dismiss.. This has happened to me before and alot of people try to tell me that it was a pillow or something on top of me making it feekl like I was being strangled. I know it wasn't. Seek spititual help if it is really scaring you this bad.. You will get so many explanations for this.. But you know what really happened.

Well, first...where did the first incident happen?? A dorm? Perhaps you received a blanket party and you were unaware. Perhaps you were beaten when you were sleeping. You can scratch yourself with short nails...it is possible. You could also have had a convulsion---you might want to get an EEG. No, a dream cant give you red marks, scratches, bruises and a hand mark on your side.

Dreams are reflections. They can develop when you are physically being beaten or when you have come out of a convulsion...but, dreams, from what I understand don't usually occur or cant be remembered during convulsions. Are you being beaten and are blocking the awareness of it?

well,my dear i wont scare you but it seams like a mean demon really hurt you. There 2 things to consider:the first ..maybe somebody casted an evil eye on you...in this case the porpose it s to hurt you physically and drive you crazy menatlly untill make you take medications...in short an evil eye hurts you and can manifests in different way such as in your dreams.
The second case to consider is the fact that demons can hurt you appearing in your dreams and hurting you for real.
try to think if you know somebody that hates you a lot...maybe somebody that want a revenge on you.
Think about the places where you had that dream...are they nice places?do you live in a old house?
Are you religious?Have you a crocifisse in your bedroom?
What happened to you is very bad and to help you i need more informations about it.
Don't worry nothing bad will happen to you but go to speak to a priest about it also because you had not a good explanation from the doctor

You say you went to the doctor and he couldn't explain it, right? So your doc saw the red marks and was pretty baffled.... hmmmm

Experiment with it for a few nights.

Suggestions:

Barracade yourself in your room to rule out that you might be having real live human/animal visitors in your room hurting you.

Set up a video camera and film yourself sleeping.

Go to the psychiatrist and see if you could have the very rare condition of multiple personality disorder.

Ask a spiritual counselor of some sort what to do.

Try to stay up for 48 hours and see if any unusual activity occurs during the night while you are awake.

What I'm thinking is that maybe you may be actually hurting yourself when you're asleep. A while ago, my brother told me that he had a dream about him having a temper tantrum or something and when he woke up, he found himself on his stomach kicking and punching like he was having a temper tantrum.
So maybe you're having the same experience only there's actual physical pain involved with it. I think you should go see an expert on this though..

It's not the dreams causing the pain, other way around.

Something is hurting you in your sleep and the pain, while not great enough to wake you, causes these dreams.

My mum's a psychologist.

If you have an aggressive cat, that might explain it? Try locking your door and see if it progresses.

If you wake WHILE HAVING THE DREAM and it's not just an "I had a weird dream last night" thing, then someone odd is going on.

At first it sounded like you had a bad case of sleep apnea where you stop breathing while you sleep. This is worth checking into because it clearly can be a part of the issue. The other part where you get brused is a mystery. If you're not doing it to yourself in your sleep and no one is doing this to you as a prank as you sleep, it's a mystery.

that's freaky. i think it maybe has to do with your dream feeling so real that it somehow gets manifested into reality. i would say that the only advice i can give is to go see a doctor. i know you said your doctor could not explain it. maybe a psychologist. it may have to do with your emotions...do you flail your arms when you sleep? you don't know what your capable of when your in fear. i'm not saying you did this...obviously its not intentional if you did. there is no real logical explaination. i am trying to help. good luck.

You need to repent of your sins and accept the forgiveness of God through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ! You see, when Adam fell in the Garden, he passed sin on to us all. We are all born into it.

But God in His great love has sent his Son to die for us, so that through His death we can have eternal life. (John 3:16)

I believe that you were attacked by demonic forces and yes they can harm you. But Jesus will protect you from them and they cannot harm you anymore.

If you do accept what God has done for you, you will be saved. And sealed by the Holy Spirit for the day of God's redemption. Once God has sealed you, satan cannot do anything to you anymore, without God's approval.

I am afraid that any other "way" will only make things worse for you.
