Have you ever felt so close to a person that not being around them actually feels like a part of you is missing? Or like being around them is just right. Not wonderful, but just calm and completely perfect? Is this normal?

By not wonderful I meant it isn't that classic movie high that people always talk about. It's more of just a complete zen with everything around me. It isn't heart pounding or thrilling but it seems so much better than that too.

Yes, that is what it is like to feel accepted and in a position of psychological safety - thats great stuff for good freindship or love of a significant other.

Just a perfectly "comfy" feeling.

It really just depends on what your reltionship with the person is if it is like a boyfriend/girlfriend thing than I understand that things mightr be new at first but then you start to miss them more and more and wish they were there. It's totally normal so don't think it's weird and it's nothing to worry about you'll be fine. Best of luck and hope everything works out okay! :)

Yes I have felt that way when I first met my husband. I always wanted to be around him. When I left for combat survival school all I could think about was him and I sort of felt lost with out him. Like if a piece of me was missing and I had to find it quick. I think that I felt that way because I was so in love with him and I didn't want to be away from him.

It is totally normal for you to feel that way. Good Luck!!

Normal? Yes. Entirely healthy? No. Sounds like a potential forming of co-dependency to me.

That's called love, honey. Not necessarily romantic love, but a fond attachment, like to a close friend or family member.

Yes. I don't see where completely perfect isn't wonderful, though.
