About Gerald Ford:

"Usually, burying a 93 year old loved one is sorrowful but, I believe his pardon of Richard Nixon is one of the factors that have led to the untimely deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East"

Shes just a mother who has delt with the tragic sacrifice by her son, in a way most people don't comprend. She should seek some mental health, yes, but I imagine its difficult to do so when others are makingmoney and the spot light is upon you and you beleive youave a celeberty status. I honestly feel empathy for her, but she does need some help in my opinion,

No, I sure as hell do NOT think this. I have two grown sons, had I lost one in this Stupid War I would have made Cindy look calm and composed.

I respect Cindy. The Policies of W are more Anti American than the Nation yet realizes. She got in his Face, and I absolutely respect her for this.

Bush just ordered troops on leave back to duty.........for what?

Iraq is in Civil War. What the hell can our troops do but be targets????

Do you know the difference between Shia and Suni? If so please respond here. If you do NOT. Please do the world a favor and shut up untill such time as you are Educated on the topic.

No way. She's one of the few sane people out in the news these days. She reminds me of Antigone. She doesn't buy into the whole facade of the current presidency.

Cindy Sheehan is a puppet of the elite media and the Democrats. They use her nuttiness and dead son to push their agendas. I feel for her loss as a parent, but when her own family comes out publicly saying that she is disgracing the memory of her son, she should love her son and what he stood for over her own politics.

Here is just one example of many that have been written about her family's thoughts about what Cindy is doing...

"The fact that Cindy Sheehan has used her son’s coffin as a political soapbox has not set well with many members of Sheehan’s extended family. In a backlash, patriotic members of Casey’s father’s family have distanced themselves and their late, heroic relative from Cindy’s anti-American ways."

Pity that such a nut gets the microphone more often than the more rational thinking people, but I guess that would not be news that pushes the liberal elite media's agenda.

God bless America and its allies against terror!

I disagree with questrion but wholeheartedly agree with the second part of your post and in fact think we need more Sheehans for just that reason.
Sheehans protest have done more to bring attention to the abuses of our presnt Presidential foray into international politics than any Democrat or peacenik group has.
That I may disagree with some of the things she sas and does in no way diminishes my admiration for her courage to stand up for what she believes.
She may be wrong but I have not heard a logical argument proving her wrong to date?
Sopme say she is just being emotional, a fraud and being duped by politcos around her.
Yet to date I see no politcos near her but her group of gold star moms is growing, sad to say, as more and more wounded and dead arrive back home.
I have sons and if one of them had gone not this war I would of been po'd but respected their choice to do so, heck they never listend to me nohow, but if one of them died for the political/economic ambitions of those in power I too would be screaming along side of Sheehan, only louder.
As it is all I can do is yell for those who have died and at the waste Bush/N/Corp has made of their sacrifices.
Is Sheehan unbalanced?
I thank destiny for never having to face the loss of a loved one in such a sordid cause, betrayed in their patriotism by their own countrys leadership; for I do not know if my sanity would remain intact.

We would all do well to have mothers who loved us enough to be "nutcases" if the government acting to increase its richest citizens' riches was responsible for our deaths.

Maybe she is nutz due to losing a son. But, I think it's extremely distasteful to "swiftboat" a dead vet's mourning mother.

Yes she is the biggest nutcase in the world. Sooner or later she'll discover that death is a fact of life.
