K what if the diamond is like 95% perfect...then how much is it worth?

Depends entirely on size and color. Perfect diamonds (of which there are few) of the more common colors can be worth less than a rare color with imperfections. And, as always, size matters! Take your stone to a reliable gemologist for an appraisal.

two things raise diamond prices significantly. Clarity is number one , size comes next. One Carat Diamont with superior clarity can worth at least 5000 US dollars or more. You can go to different diamond retailers internet sites, and they can give u some good estimates.

You have to go to a good appraiser...he/she will give you the 5 K's to a diamond. The appraiser will charge you for the appraisal of your gem. Then I suggest.... Search Yahoo Answers for; What is the 5K's of a diamond.?
Knowing the 5 K's will bring you closer to an answer to your diamond question.

take it to a jewlery store and they can tell you what it is worth.
