You obviously don't know any real Liberals. You cannot actually believe that ALL liberals are against the things you enumerated. I am about as liberal as a person can be without being a Communist, and I think straight white males CAN be okay, I am a Christian (one of the reasons that I embrace "liberal thought"), I love the family (which, obviously the government does not--otherwise it would not take two wage earners to make enough money to feed and house a "family"), I honor many, many traditions.....etc. etc.
You cannot answer for me; you don't know me. But I will say that I don't think any of those things were the "very building blocks that this land was founded on". This country was founded by "liberals" who wanted a place to be free to practice whatever religion or way of life that they chose! And, they wanted "no taxation without representation".

Maybe you should educate yourself first? That would go a long way to help.
If I were you, I'd avoid Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, hell-the entire Fox (Faux) News Network, and people of that ilk. Of course, I'd also avoid Michael Moore and some of the liberal guys as well.
I'm a liberal. But I'm a smart liberal. I look into the issues myself. Most of us aren't against the White Straight male. Nor are we against The Church. Nor are we against the Family or anything else you have us against.
Most of us are for less government control, less government spending, we are about freedom of/from religion. We support our Armed Forces, in fact, most of the liberals I know are officers in the military.
And to the guy below me: WTF are you smoking? Have you taken a look at what the republicans and conservatives have been doing lately? I'm surprised there isn't a video camera in your bedroom and every time you and your wife get it on, someone's not there telling that missionary is the only way you can have sex.

The liberals are not so tolerant of White staright male because George and Dick represents them; The church because, well have you seen what those horny ministers are doing to the boys; The family because it failed to raise men with good morals, for example, all the Republicans who failed/refused to bring impeachment charges against George Bush; ... well the asker is getting the idea that the liberals have something against some of the bad stuff in America.

The church forgets, separation of church & state, and tries to run the country.
The Liberals & the conservatives, have strange ideas about the family, just watch the news!!!!!
Whose tradition ???
They have no problem with the armed forces, it's what we make them do.
How are they intolerant of the US ? because they believe in the Constitution ?
I'm tired of the conservatives trying to take all our rights away, & telling us what we should believe !! Our government is allowing the Christian church to run the country,
While they act in immoral ways. Also, if they continue to only look at the war and not whats going on right here, our country will go to hell in a handbag !!!!!!!!!!

Because liberals recognize that the straight white male is "privileged" and everyone else who isn't straight or white or male is getting treated unfairly in a country that was founded on equality but is being destroyed by conservatives. God help you and your "tradition".

The Neocons do not hold the rights to Faith, and many Liberals are also Christian. Perhaps they just belive that the seperation of Church and State is a good idea, and that their Faith is no ones business but their own.
Perhaps Liberals have become tired of the bashing of minorities, the loss of US jobs, and the fact that they led us into an Unwinnable war that is killing our kids.
As to your "opinion" the last thing it is is humble. "Those who fail to study history are often doomed to repeat it".
You are not the only one with a lengthy list. You are simply the one who has no clue that his list is about as important as his opinion.
