Although a tough question, it is a good one. To be great you almost have to become a second "him". Be interested in what he is doing and maybe help or join in. Listen to hints,..most guys give these all the time and if he says he is just kidding,..he aint. he really wants what he said. So..listen, learn, get involved. He should do the same for you too to be great but all men arent like that.

Basically, just be you, if they dont like you for you then they arent worth your time.
Guys tend to like girls who have a good sense of humor and who they can just 'chill' with. Its not always about hooking up and all that nonsense like the scum bags of the male race put out there. The guys that are actually worth your time will enjoy spending time with you doing various things.
And dont be too clingy. Its ok to care, its ok to show you care, but if he wants to go out with friends let him. Thats always been my problem with relationships, girls get clingy and you know what just because I have a girl in my life I still need my friends, know what I mean?

First I'd say my best friend is my wife. I love doing things with her, walking and talking, or yes even shopping. We do alot of things together, but she also gives me my time. I think the "My Time" for both of us is very important also. I go to my buddies houses to jam on the guitar and she goes and does her thing with her friends (at least once a week.). We are very understanding with each others needs and wants and we both try hard to help achieve them no matter what they are. This has work for 17 years and I love her more and more everyday.

A great GF is accepting of who I am. She does not try to make me over to her specs.
She possesses a certain gentle warmth or sweetness--tough to describe, but in my mind it lies near the core of femininity.
She is not too needy or smothering or demanding, but wants my attention, and returns my affection freely. She gives me 'space' when i need that; and does not try to micromanage my life, and I extend the same respect to her. Confident of herself
Occassionally, she'll go out of her way to please me in some small way; and I reciprocate as well. Generous.
She knows I'll pitch in to help her achieve a goal of some kind, and does not hesitate to ask. And i know she'll help me, too. Helpmate.
She is not reluctant to ask or give gifts in bed. Guiltless sensuality

a great relationship is taking it one day at a time and DO NOT JUDGE OR TRY TO CONTROL SOMEONE. give each other space when they need it and let them do what they want as long as you are able to do what you want respect each others point of view and love life and you will be O.K.
