Amazingly, the USA never caught him, or Bush would have announced to the world that he was dead and Bush would mount Osama's head at his ranch in Texas. Strangely enough, there are no independently verified confessions or pronouncements that Osama had anything at all to do with 9/11 ( the person on the grainy tape the USA government released is clearly not Osama, I wish it was). There is evidence that the USA trumped up the Osama angle because they needed to put a face on the demon, so to speak.
