the R button doesnt work properly and for it to work I'll have to slide the switch to HOLD and remove it again. it's as if the R button is stuck and it is held down for a long time. i have to fix this because using the PSP without an R button sucks!! PLEASE HELP ME...

i would take it to where ever you bought it and if u got the warranty ask them for help if you didn't purchase the warranty a Small fee will probably be charged for the repair GOOD LUCK!

It prolly needs to be cleaned. Try taking a toothpick and cleaning the edges around the button. Or use a cotton swab. It may be time for a new controller. If you've had it for a while, its just been used so much. You could try taking the button out to clean it, but you may not be able to put it back in the controller correctly.
