I'm married to my first cousin, and I'm happier than I've ever been. We have researched the biblical implications and have no issues. Our immediate families are ecstatic as eveyone has known we've had "a a thing" for each other since we were 8 and 10.
We've decided to hide the "we're cousins" thing from people since it seems to be such a taboo but what is a good way to describe "how did you meet""?
We've been going with the "Our parents knew each other" thing, but seems dishonest.

well that is fine but your offsprings might get in trouble. because your genes are quite the same so there is a possibility that there might be complications or abnormalities in the end you will be blaming yourselves for what you have done.

ive had some hot cousins and yea we made out (kissed) because were drunk but i also thought about that. i found this thru discovery channel a long time ago. and its in my head because i know my cousins have the thing for me since im the only guy cousin they have. hehe. serious.

If you're happy then that's all that matters. There are some health issues if having kids, but I am assuming you already considered that. Even that matters most only if you're married to your mom's sister's kid or your dad's brother's kid. Meaning it has to be same sexual siblings for your parents. Otherwise it's less of an issue, but there still is a health risk.

Don't worry about public taboos. But instead of going to any great lengths I suppose you could simply say that you've known each other since you were kids. The parents knowing each other is good - since it's not a lie. An omission is not automatically a lie - except in business :)

Your cousin was the only in your hometown so you married him-you and your family knew that the two of you were related-so is this a family thing-what kind of family do you have-HE IS YOUR COUSIN-if the two of you love each other so much tell people the truth(we are cousins) and we are in love-why are you trying to hide the facts now-the best way to tell people how the two of you met is tell them the truth that you have known him all of your like and he has know you all of his life because you two are cousin-you two are not afraid to sleep with each other so it should not matter what people think when you tell them the truth-just remember someone do know that the two of you are related and it will come out-if it don't come out in the wash it will come out in the rinse.

It might be legal in KENTUCKY! On the marriage lic there, it asks you "are you related, if so how"
I swear that was on the form!
I think you should keep that a secret too!
'uncle dad' might think that is okay but unless you are a mormon or something I would think that the rest of the world would think you were slightly looney

What is the question? If you two love eachother, that is fine. As long as one is male and the other is female.

Whoa.... You should have controlled your passions. I have some very hot first cousins, but would never consider doing ANYTHING with them/ Just tell people you know each other from childhood.
