I have the same problem. Is it dry in your house? If so, try getting a humidifier. The dry air can cause your nose to bleed. I bought one and haven't had a nosebleed since. If that doesn't rectify the problem, go to the doctor and talk about it. I wouldn't worry, though. It's likely just a minor problem.

Hey,
I had this problem since I was 5 yrs old, I'm 21 now, I know what you are going through and yes it is a medical problem its not you, First off you could have High Blood Pressure, and that can be the cause of your noise bleeds, Second if you are under alot of stress that can lead to a noise bleeding problem, Third you may not know that you have allergies, and the last one is that you noise my be dry and need moister in the nasal area. So from experience your doctor will have to take blood and test you to make sure you are not allergic to any kind of dust, pollen, foods, drinks etc, next your doctor will test to see if you have hyperten a.k.a. High Blood Pressure, and then wait for the results as you wait they will recommend that you buy nasal spray for your noise and a buy a air machine for your room at night that Will add moisture around you as you sleep at night. And tell your mother that its not a game and that you really do need to see a doctor, because like you I've woke up in my own blood from my noise and also died from it about 9 times, please tell your parents to take this very seriously its not a joke.

Nosebleeds can have many causes. Here are some:
1. Excess dryness. In the wintertime people tend to keep all the windows closed and turn up the heat. This causes the room to be dry, and in turn, dry out the mucus membranes in your nose which sometimes causes nose bleeds. If this is the case a humidifer can be helpful.
2.High blood pressure/medications- Hypertension(high blood pressure) in some cases can cause nose bleeds. Certain meds
(espeically over the counter cold meds) can raise blood pressure and heart rate causing nosebleeds.
3. Margine headaches, stroke, Aneurysm- Sometimes people with Margine headaches can have nose bleeds. Someone who is having a Stroke can have them too, and also Aneurysm which is a weak spot in a blood vessle that balloons out until it bursts causing life threating bleeding.
4.Caffeine. excess Caffeine can cause nosebleeds too.
5. Airborne irritants- gases, vapors, sprays. substances that are commonly used in the home, industry, and agriculture.
If your nosebleeds continue the best thing to do is to go to a doctor to rule out any medical problems.

Too much irritation of your internal nostril walls can cause this. I was a chronic booger picker and had many nose bleeds as a child. You may be blowing your nose too often or it could be a direct link to the cold drying out your nostril walls which should always be moist. Do you have issues with you nose or are you always playing with it? If so, you need to relax and just realize your nose will be there in the morning. If you are doing nothing to cause this and it happens when its warm outside or you haven't been riding regularly then you may need to go to the doctor. Its probably nothing but it could be something.

My husband gets these all the time too. Usually its because the vessels in your nose easily break causing a nose bleed. If it gets out of control, or if you are concerned, you can always go to your doctor. They will probably just cauderize the vessels. Otherwise just make sure you always carry around a tissue or something in your pocket just incase it starts up. We always keep tissue in the car now just for that reason. Good luck.

I get this very same thing. As mentioned in a previous response it could be the dry air, blow your nose to hard, or something. It happens on and off to me. Montel had his nose bleed so bad, he had to get it cotorized <- don't know how to spell it. Anyways, I know several people, who have this procedure done. What I think it does is it "seals" a vein in your nose and the bleeding stops. You should look into it if your worried, or ask your doctor.

Hello!Nadaleigh,my father suffers from the same problem, but only in summers. This is because sometimes, he is heat-stricken/ exhausted. But if you 've recently starting living in a hilly region, may be, it because of low atmospheric pressure. Some people who are sensitive to such conditions may suffer from ear discomforts(because of bulging out, of the ear drum)or nose discomforts as the delicate blood vessels may burst out due to the effect of atmospheric pressure.

OK this may sound a little scary, but nose bleeds are a symptom of leukemia. You might not have it though. Go to your doctor and find out for sure.

I have heard that it can be a sign of high blood pressure. Get it checked out by a doctor to rule out any serious health problems.

The dryness of cold air, especially when you aren't use to it is a very common cause of nose bleeds.
