I got an I~pod for Christmas and cant get it to install on my computer.m We have an other I~pod [its my bros] I dont know what to do can you help me?

well the 1st answer is right, but it all dpends on your iPod model. If you got the iPod Video, then you should probabbly get the latest version of iTunes available at :
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
maybe the reason why your ipod doesn;t work is because(as u claim you bro already has an iPod too) your iPod model is newer than your brother's and that the iTunes installed in yor computer is not applicable to YOUR iPod.
You may be wonderin' why I concluded that you already have iTunes, well its just common sense because you claim that your family already has an iPod and all iPod users know that an iPod will never function without iTunes. ^_^
A warning though, while you're downloading iTunes, don't connect your iPod to your PC, connect it ONLY when you have installed iTunes.
Now, to get cool songs, i agree with AndrU, Limewire is a program you should check out. If you don't have limewire, download it from here:

AndrU is mostly correct, but he leaves out a valuable piece of the pie. Once you download iTunes, you can then burn your CDs into iTunes and then upload into your iPod. This is much cheaper than buying songs off of iTunes and much more legal too!
Glad you got an iPod...I loved mine...until it died on Christmas Eve....looks like I need a new one.

all u do is download itunes and buy music off it and once u plug in ur ipod the itunes library should go onto ur ipod
i recommend limewire nice and free once u download songs from limewire drag them into the itunes library and theyll go into ur ipod

You can get a iPod from http://linkachi.com/?jl8 , all you have to do is fill out the survey. I got my iPod from that site and I got it a week after i bought it. All i had to do was fill out the survey.
