Fashinable- who cares? Practical and polite - yes.
No girl wants a prickly bush in her face when she is 'down there'. Same as you wouldn't want a big 70s style bush in yours, I'm sure. Trim the bush and shave your balls. Sounds like a song doesn't it? All together now..... 'trim the bush and shave the balls, la la la'.

I've never come across a man with hair on his oscar meyer weiner and that is the only area that I would really care about as that is the only part that would be penetrating any orafice of mine. Weather or not he shaves the boys is a personal choice, I don't know what exactly fashion has to do with it.

nothing fashionable about that sometimes i'd shave, other times i just leave a whole damn forest. depends on when there is time, whether the lady likes it like that or whether its healthy for one or not.
it seems though that a regular trim of the bush and a complete shave of the balls didnt kill anyone

It seems to be ' fashionable ' now for men to do that . . . I think I know the clear reason why men (and women) do this. . . . yet I find it to be very silly and unnecessary. We are adults, not pre-pubescent children and feel it's more attractive to look as natural adults. But, in the ' game of love and passion ' I guess that's where personal choice and preference come in.

"fashionable" is definately the operative word in your question.
men shaving genitals, i'd say, is definately more popular these days...
but "fashionable"??? you can't "wear" shaved genitals for all to see.
are you asking if it looks good?
yes.

Trimming is OK-but men are utilitarian. Unless it is a discomfort issue, why should a man take the same amount or more time than a woman to primp anything?

Perhaps not close-shaven since the growing hair can irritate, but certainly to close crop is better than having great long hairs getting in the way of sexual activity of a more personal nature

My husband mentioned this a few months ago. Apparently it is, but I don't think it would be a turn on at all. I would laugh!
Plus, it seems to me it would be taking masculinity away. Maybe it originated as a gay thing?
