Hello, my husband and I are both musicians and it is a very important part of our lives. We need a "musical" boys name. We already have one son, his middle name is "Miles" after Miles Davis. We already have a girls name picked out, it is "Cadence." The only boys name I can think of that I like (so far) is Parker, after Charlie Parker. Any help will be appreciated!

Just choose someone who has been an inspiration to you!

My husband is a musician also, and when I was pregnant, the boys names we had picked out were Kai Marley (Marley for Bob Marley...and Kai means "ocean" in hawaiian--we're also both surfers), and Hendrix Thomas (Hendrix for Jimi Hendrix). Both of these musicians (Marley and Hendrix) have inspired much creativity and love in us. They were both amazing men...not just musically, but spiritually also.

So we wanted to use those names...and I could go on and on with a list of names that could honor any given musician...it just depends on who has inspired YOU guys.

Congrats and good luck!

unique boy names like those above used on women looks especially edgy to me. i do no longer probable ideas it. i might have an opinion if I pay attention Timothy or Benjamin on a woman however. BQ1: I propose, useful once you're saying the call as an entire. yet extremely some the time the 1st call will in basic terms be heard. BQ2: i might p.c. How about William after John and/or Paul Williams. I think that William Miles is a great name.
And I absolutely love Cadence, one of my daughter's friends named her daughter Cadence.

How about Cleff?

Or Marley, or Hendrix?

I think it truly does depend on what musicians have inspired the two of you.
