Hi, I want to smooth the trasition from my regular singing voice, to my low singing voice(Not sure what it's called) to my high singing voice (head voice)but doing all this on the same word. The best way I can explain what I mean by this is giving you a link to an artist doing what I'm speaking about

Listen to "This Christmas"
See how he sings in his regular voice but at the end of most his words he extends the word and will either raise his pitch into his head voice or lower his pitch while still singing the same word? He seems to do this with ease. Especially on the last word of the song, "bright",he goes from head voice and progresses into his regular voice, then followed by a lower tone.He does this in approximently 6 seconds. But it was a smooth transition. If yall could recommend exercises or tips/tecniques 4 achieving this I would appriciate it alot! (Only one example, alot of singers do this.only recent 1 i kno of). Thanx 4 any help.

Head voice or Head Tone as it's also called, is where you sing in a higher pitch or tone then what you regular do and you have to hypotheticaly push the note "out the top of your head"..hence it's name. So, when the example I gave he started our Bright in a Loud screaming sort of tone aka Head Voice then lowered into his Regular singing voice and then continued to lower into a lower pitch then this all while singing the note, but the transition was smooth. I can do this too, but it's sometimes a stuggle for me and I know I can smooth out this with some exercises or with a different technique. So that's what I'm asking. Thanks.
