What items sell fast at flea markets?

I am getting ready to start renting a booth at a flea market and I need to know what items sell good. I plan on buying items at wholesale and then selling them. What kind of things should I sell?

The strangest things sell. Whatever you think you would through out rather than put in a flea market sale...is the very thing that would sell. Good stuff surprisingly does not sell. I don't know why. I collect colonial Paul Revere pewter so I go looking for stuff like that. I will however pick up an item because it is better than one I already have, i.e., a better wine opener or a better pan. I also like Cloisonne Jewelry but not much else. It really is hard to say. You see a lot of antiques, but people are not looking for antiques at a flea market. They want useful stuff. I do enjoy going to any and all of them because it is just fun, fun, fun.

Sell things that are hard to steal! Shrinkage is huge at flea markets because of the volume of people and overall lack of security.

Better get things at less than wholesale if you plan to sell at a flea market - also, your stock won't rotate quickly, so need to get items that can age gracefully (which is why so many have antiques).

I see alot of "fake" things sold, like fake gucci bags - that would work. If you have the talent and know how to run an embroidery machine, embroidered golf shirts would sell well - you can buy them cheap, customize the embroidery, and make a good profit - keep a small number of sizes - men's M, L, XL, and XXL - 5 or 6 cool logos.

I sell at them sometimes find things that you can get as cheap as posible and sell them at a good price, have a place where you can store thing that you sell because thing are seasonal ( yard work items you sell in the sping) but you can buy these things cheaper in the fall or winter. good luck Robert

the flea market i recently visited. everything sold except fleas. there was so much variety there I have not ever seen in one place in my entire life. good luck to you!

antiques are great sellers if you can afford them,, also indian paraphernalia..
