Ganpatipule, harihareshwar and shrivardhan is best. for ganpatipule u can go by konkan railway till ratnagiri then can take a bus to ganpatipule. hotles and food r cheap. same with shrivardhan, u can get down at mangaon and then can go by bus or there r direct bus services from mumbai, thane, dombivli , kalyan to shrivardhan.

you can try... Alibagh, Kashid Beach (Quite nice place to spend a day) and Murud Janjira Fort... nice for weekend outing

pali bach resort........its in bhayender...good place..good food...reasonable rates. or u can go to manori bell ....... near borivali (Gorai) madh Island (Marve)
