i always thought that one was kinda creepy. the last time i saw it in tv, maybe 5 years ago, the quality was atrocious. grainy and dark. i guess no one has put effort into restoring it

you need to watch ABC family channel. They aired the little drummer boy movie and the sequel at least 4 times before Christmas this month. I don't think they are still showing it on account that Christmas is over but you can try again next year. They have a marathon of that movie and other Christmas shows like it every Christmas

It is available on DVD. They also sell a set of the holiday special clay animations. The reasoning behind not airing the show is the "explicit" content of religion. You'll probably find it airing on a public access channel or cable that gear towards more Christian programming. Another reason could be the lean towards more computer animated shows.

Probably because it was more about religion than snowmen, reindeer and Santa. I missed it as well. Wasn't there another religious one about a donkey that Mary rode on?

it doesnt air anymore because the little drummer boy paid homage to Jesus...and the powers that be dont like that depiction anymore!! by the way, when do you EVER see Jesus mentioned during the "holiday season"?

Either the quality degraded or some genius decided it was not politically correct.

It might be available on DVD.
