Hi Chuck, you can make good money as a massage therapist and help people at the same time, people that are in pain and that is what helps them get through the work week. Plus the more specialized you go the more money you can make. Manual Lymph drainage therapy is the gold standard treatment for lymphedema patients, it's a form of medical massage where the therapist massages a certain way to promote the lymphatic system to drain stagnant fluids from patients bodies. An hour of that costs anywhere from $65.00 to $200.00 for the patient and most insurances don't cover it which we patients are working to change but think of the business you could get if you charged say $50.00 for cash clients? It could be very lucrative and rewarding to know you are helping people.

Why not become a masseuse first and do that to pay for college to become an anesthesiologist, and see what happens?
