I think it is very useful though it may not seem like it. However it has been shown in surveys that those who play instruments usually have good grades and it gives them an edge on others. The piano is also the base of all instruments so if you master that then you'll be able to learn how to play different instruments a lot easier in the future. It will also help you to see if music something you want to get into later on in life and it may also help you to become well grounded.

I have always said that if I were to find a genie in a bottle that would grant me three wishes, the first wish would be to be able to play the piano. I don't know if you're a male or female, but I do know all chicks like a guy who can play piano. Keep it up!!! You'll be happy you did. I promise. Good luck!!!

I took piano for a year and quit when I got busy with other things. Now I wish I'd have stayed with it. That's a really common story. Most adults who didn't take piano or who quit before getting good say the same thing.

If you don't do it you'll regret it later. Really.

Yes! I started playing the piano at a young age and I don't regret it at all. Of course not, I went to school for it. Maybe you will develop a love for it like I have.

Mom, is right. Learning to play the piano is a wonderful gift. I started lessons as an adult. My SO, argued with his Mom so much when he was a kid about it, that she gave up. He regretted it and started taking lessons again as an adult.

Thank Mom....she knows best.
