Does anyone have any good ideas?

I already deal a little with eBay. I have been successful selling random things around the house, however, I would like to find a more consistant supply of sellable products. What do you guys think? And yes, I have sold email addresses that I have made up. I have also bought and sold products from thrift stores. I just need to find something that would consistantly sell.

I know a manager at a Costco who gets his normal discount and then his manager discount and just buys tons and tons of stuff. He buys stuff from key chains to speakers and TVs etc... and sells it on eBay. It's a huge supplemental income for him.

As for you, I would look for "lots" on eBay itself. Its were people sell a large amount of goods for a nice cheap price(probably close to what my buddy gets his stuff for). Make sure you buy from reputable buyers with good ratings. Make sure you read all of the fine print for the lots; if it says new it better be new because noone likes to buy used stuff for a decent price unless it is a rare item. Also, always pay through PayPal. If a seller doesn't have a good rating then he doesn't have paypal anyway.

Look for "lots" that interest you and meet those requirements, buy them, and then list them singly. Also, always look at the lots and then look and see what those individual items are going for. It's common sense, but if someones got a "lot" of sunglasses listed under Arnette(which sell for good prices) and there are only two pairs of Arnettes and the rest are other types that only sell for $10-$20 a piece it may not be worth it. "Lots" are a good way to go, it should only take minimal start up money, not much researching time on the computer, and then wham, you've got your own eBay store and are making a decent income doing nothing but sitting on the comp. all day. Good luck.

Looking to the popularity of eBay, I can say that customers are available for almost everything. You can sell anything if right customer is able view your item. Generally it is recommended that you have own online store so that the customers can reach/remember the name easily. This will help customers to visit again and again to check what is in your store. You also need to provide something regularly.

Lastly your store should look different

Good luck for your small business.

How about popular movies, popular books, posters, CDs, anything you want to get rid of, and then nae a starting bid. I think that if people are looking for something like that ad they feel that they have a chance of getting that at a cheap price, they might bid. And also, if you find something on sale that is popular and doesn't have anything wrong with it, get it and sell it for as much as you can. You will probably gain profit. Buy for less, sell for more.

childrens gently worn clothing sells great. You have to have good name brands though.

Here are some brands to look for:
gymboree
gab
old navy
tommy hilfiger
mary kate and ashley (although this is walmart it still sells good for some reason)
psketti
marsha
sara sara
jm originals
rubbies

Also, handmade bows and hair blings sell great.

A kidney if they'll let you get away with it. Seriously, anything for kids or pets sells like crazy.

my friend actually sold "ebay seller names" on ebay. (but ebay stopped him...)

he would make up names like "the ipod guy" or something, and he'd make like 100 of them, and if someone wanted that specific name, they'd have to "buy" it from him. i think he made around 200 bucks too!! thats pretty nice!!!!
