Partially.

Ecologically, only a small number of "top predators" can be sustained. In the time of the dinosaurs, the top predator was a dinosaur (not even going to argue which here, because I have behavioral biases), and in the current age, one can argue that we-humans-are the top predator. In order for the transition to occur, there didn't nessessarily have to be a demise since we fill different niches, and could co-exist.

However, since I do not want to get into the coldblooded/warmblooded debate on here, I will say this. Dinosaurs dying off gave mammals a chance at survival. Dinosaurs ranged in size from just plain huge, to something you can step on, and I am only refering to the carnivores at this point. These would have eaten any small mammals before they even had a chance to evolve. Humans are the products of evolution, it has been shown that evolution occurs, and not just on a grand scale (there is a seasonal evolution study done with Darwin's finches that is facinating). In order for humans to have evolved, the organisms that we evolved from needed to be given a fighting chance, this meant that the "top predator" needed to be wiped out- thus extinction gave rise to the age of mammals.

But I will allow argue that the extinction of the dinosaurs is not the complete reason for our existance, since some dinosaurs still live on, though not in the typical Jurassic Park style.

Our existance, I believe, is based solely on our fitness, our ability to produce offspring that will be able to pass on genetic information. We raise our young, we have knowledge, we can even be deluded enough to call ourselves the"top predator". Our species, given our knowledge and ability to use it, has allowed us to adapt in ways that other animals could only dream of (I know I am anthropomorphizing, but I just like the idea of a penguin dreaming of flying an airplane). We exist today since we were able evolve and adapt to the changing times, the true test is, how much longer we will succeed at this game.

And, since there has been some religious bouting going on on this page, I will say this. I did not mention exact time, think of it as millions of years, days or seconds if you like. Whichever suits your fancy. The church has also accepted the theory of evolution in the 1980's although it doesn't exactly "fit" with what the bible teaches. I do not wish to offend anyone, only to speak my opinion, I hope that you can respect it , as I have respected yours.

No the reason became whilst Saturn the EL or Lord of the previous testomony burnt out as a solar. Now that is observed because of the fact the black solar, the darkish famous individual, the black cube, and the 8 spoked wheel. Now our new solar Jesus or New testomony lights furniture our way. ISRAEL ISIS - Venus AMEN RA - The solar EL - Saturn 11 is the conjuncture of Saturn and Venus, or 11 the two pillars Joachin and Boaz.. it somewhat is how they construct the enormous church homes, in the international as in heaven or as above so under the previous alchemical word is going... one hundred and one 2 enormous towers with the astrological solar dome in between them. 1776 became important why? a million+7 = 8 and seven+6 = 13 8 is the form of the previous solar Saturn, 13 is the form of the recent solar Jesus our Luke Skywalker that walks in the path of the 12 constellations making 13. It represents the previous international getting into the recent international.

In a way I do agree. If dinosaurs were not extinct humans would be eaten. And, first of all, the only way for the dinosaurs to become extinct is from a change in the ecosystem which ended up extincting the species of dinosaurs and eventually bringing in humans...

On one level, there were only tiny rat-like mammals back when the dinosaurs lived. I imagine our evolution would've been very strained if giant predators had stalked our world.

But then, mammals are very intelligent, and every species of ape before humans was pretty strong. Humans have survived a lot, and I think we could've found a niche with the dinosaurs.

In short, I do not believe that statement to be true.

Yes in a sense that if they were alive, we would not evolve because we would be eaten. No because I can't believe that we evolve and exist simply based on their extinction. There were other life besides dinosaurs that coexisted with them so we could too if we can manage to escape the wrath of their insatiable appetite.

No, We were created to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. That is our reason for being.

The dinosaurs were created on days 5 and 6 (depending on the type), man on day 6. We lived together until way after the flood (although most of them died in the flood, just like the other animals).

I do not believe we exist as a result of dinosaur extinction. However, we may owe our existence to the climate changes that contributed to their demise. These changes may have resulted in colder climates -- which would have favored warm-blooded, fur and feathered animals such as mammals and birds. This would have created conditions more favorable for the development of humans.

but there can be a contradiction as well...as there could be a chance that these dinos if existed today they could be an friendly creature...as we have other animal such as lion ,tiger and may other...
so in that case its not possible to comment on a single statement.....

It could very well be a contributing factor, one of many, but impossible to prove as truth.
