rainbow six hands down. the ai is better for rainbow six which means enemies are harder but ur squadmates are tougher as well. I also like the features in rainbow six where you can predesignate enemies for your team mates. The multiplayer also allows you to actually put ur face into the game using the xbox camera thing. Also rainbow six vegas has more weapons and armor you can choose from. And above all rainbow six takes place in vegas, how awesome is that. Gears of war looks good, but rainbow six is more realistic

Rainbow SIx Vegas has awesome multiplayer and authentic weapons. I prefer it to GoW

GoW, imho. RS:V is good and all, but GoW is sick. One of the top 10 games of all time, all platforms (excluding PC)
