Ok.. Lets break it down.

Wii - All around fun, the launch games so far where GREAT, even the pre packaged Wii Sports that came with it. Everyone can play Wii, even the most unexperienced game players, or people who dont play games at all can get used to it withen no time. Many of the games use the motion sensing great, it works great, I love it, everyone I have played with loved it. But most games wont come out on Wii, Wii also has limited online capabilties, game wise. The graphics arent all that good, a little better then GameCube quality, it also plays GC games, a little plus, and can access the internet, websites and such.

PS3 & XBOX360 - They are almost the same exact, they have the same power, a majority of the same games, it also comes down to your TV, I would suggest the 360 just because of Xbox Live, one GamerTag for all games, and friends list. They have the same graphical power, no lie, it may seem PS3 has the best, but some games are better then others on each, once again though, comes down to your TV, but the 360 does have a year under its belt, a dozen great games, not to mention another dozen Ok ones, they both have identical "Home" and "market place" capabilites, with demos, videos, ect. 360 is cheaper though, and now a days I have even seen them with NFS:Nost Wanted pre packaged, I would go with the 360. Now both 360 and PS3 host a bigger game selection of Mature games, and all around games like Tony Hawk, Sport games, and other that wont be on Wii, but Wii does have all the clasic Mario, Zelda, and other games.

Over all, Wii is great, 360 over PS3, you could basically buy Wii and 360 for the price of PS3 too.

It really depends on what you're looking for, but of course Wii is the cheapest and I think the coolest because it is so different from the other systems. People who aren't into gaming can get really into the Wii, and people who are have a nice selection of games already (Red Steel, Zelda, Call of Duty, etc). Xbox and PS3 have good graphics, so if you care about that, both of those are good candidates. However, my friend got a PS3 and put the Blue Ray disc in to watch and it broke 3 minutes into the movie and hasn't turned on since... I think Wii and Xbox are a little more stable than that.

Well you can buy an xbox 360 right now for less money. There are plenty of games and it is a pretty good system.

You will probably have to wait until spring before the PS3 is really easy to get hold of. It is about twice the price and there are not many great games out for it right now. That said there will be some amazing games, it is better than the xbox, and it comes with a Blu-Ray player which will be great if you have an HD ready TV and would like to watch HD movies.

360. It is available, decent priced for what you get, and has some amazing titles (Saint's Row, Oblivion, Gears of War, Dead Rising....oh, and a little itty bitty title coming next year called HALO3 ^^). But seriously, sample them all, and go with the one you like the best.


Edit:To the person who said HALO is not the reason to buy a 360.....um, it is not the biggest reason to buy the system, but if you are big time into shooters, the only way you'll be able to play what will more than likely be the best shooter ever released onto a console platform, you'll need a 360. End of edit.

Depends on several factors, like age- 360 is more adult based, ps3 has adult games, but more youth friendly games, while nintendo always has attracted the most youngins. Also the wii is a more active system, if you are lazy, probably not the best idea. Also there are games on each system that are exclusive, such as Zelda, and Mario for wii, Halo for xbox, etc.

2) Graphics better than any other console (PS3 has potential to be better but it is hard for the developers to code so for now, it's not as good as the Xbox 360)
3) Downloads baby!!! Download game updates, extra game content, custom themes and pictures, game demos, movie trailers, game trailers, full movies (high def available), full tv shows, arcade games, and a variety of interesting videos.
3) Excellent parental controls (good for the parent who doesn't want his or her young children seeing mature content)
4) Wireless - Adds freedom to gaming
5) Stream music/vids/pics all from your pc without taking up valuable hard-drive space
6) Lots of games out on the market
7) Webcam (the Xbox Live Vision cam)
8) Many other more minor features that I'm too lazy to put up but they add for an excellent gaming environment
9) High-def. Every game is ready to be displayed in at least 720i and many support 1080i.

Your Xbox 360 will not pour coffee... but it will play games and movies in high-def!

I am getting the wii because i am a Nintendo jock. if i had to get an xbox 360 or a PS3, i would get a PS3. PS3 has better graphics. also halo 3 is not a good reason.

nicely identity say the wii...it has offered extra copies than the xbox and the ps3. I have a wii, and that i imagine its stunning, ive performed the ps3 and the pix are cool yet i dont imagine i'd purchase it. its too severe priced. the 360 is extremely cool and that i love their video games yet when i had to make certain one, i'd %. the wii. plus ruin bros brawl is popping out, and thats basically gonna make it more beneficial

Nintendo Revalution (Wii) is the best because of the price/games. Nintendo has made some great systems buut this is the best yet. You can even go online on it. YES just type in www.yahoo.com and you go there. You can watch videos online too. If you buy it you should buy the Twilight Princess/Redsteel.
