i broke up with my ex about 6 mos ago and for about 2 mos he kept tryin to get back with me but even though i still cared so much for him i had to much pride to take him back. well now he lives in another state and i have been looking at his my space well about a month ago i was shoked to see that he had a pic of me and him on his my space. well seeing this made me think that mbey he still cares for me like i do him. I have been dying to send him an email but i coulndnt get the couarge well tonight sent him one i asked him how things have been and apoligised for what i had done. well now i cant belive i sent him an email and i am stessing about it. did i do the right thing and how do you think he will react?

I know exactly what you are going through, except in my case, I knew that it would never have worked out between my boyfriend and I. We were too different, and although I loved him very much, I knew that breaking up was the best thing to do. My advice is to remember why you broke up with him in the first place. Don't stress too much about the email, just try to remember why you broke up, and be realistic with yourself. Could it honestly work out between you two? As much as I miss having someone always there with me, it is more important that I am not selling myself short. Make sure you don't sell yourself short by getting back with him. Good luck!

It really sounds like he still is in love with you. It also sounds like you made a mistake by breaking up in the first place. When you make a wrong turn in life, the best thing to do is to turn around and go back to the former path. If you do hear from him again, you might have a little more talking to do to make things right, but don't let pride stand in your way. It's hard to admit when we're wrong, I know, but you have to consider the consequences. It sounds like you are ready to try again with him, and I hope he feels the same.

You didn't do anything wrong by sending the email (based on what you stated above). If you broke up with him and is dying to find out what's up, then it's nothing wrong. RELAX! If he responds cool, if not, that's cool also. At least you got things off your chest!

The best thing to do is whatever your heart tells you to do. If you love him and want to try it out one more time, then go for it! If not, tell him you just wanna be friends. Good luck to ya!
