I have an eMachine T2825 that is having some serious issues. When I hit the power button, all that happens is the procesor fan gives a slight twitch of maybe half a turn, then stops, and the blue light on the front remains lit. I dont hear the hard drive kicking in or anything. On top of this, the PC cant be turned off, i hit the power button with absolutely no effect, I have to unplug it to turn it off. I know a decent amount about computers, but this one has me puzzled. Im fairly certain it's a hardware issue, but im not sure what. Any thoughts?

in step with what you're saying. it somewhat is not uncomplicated to be sure what the subject is. you probably did no longer say whether you're utilizing extreme velocity or dial or instantaneous. in case you're utilizing a instantaneous information superhighway, it must be sign barrier situation. in case you're utilizing extreme velocity, it must be secret agent ware situation, if dial up, must be bandwidth situation. in case you have been utilizing you computing device ok till now. i do no longer think of it somewhat is computing device situation. Modem capability surge situation is likewise achievable.

E-Mechines are a good, but on the cheaper side of computers... I would have spent a little more to get a Gateway.

anyway,

If the computer is old, get a new one...

or, check to see if the Power supply is still good. I know they can ware out after awhile...

Try replacing your power supply, it's pretty cheap...Other than that, it sounds like your motherboard.
