An e-book is short for electronic book....it is basically a print book that you can read on the computer. They may be in PDF form, an image, or may require some other program to open.

Usually software for e-books is free while you pay for the books themselves.

It's an electronic book. You download it onto a palm pilot or smart phone and read it there. It has all the text of the hardcopy book but in electronic format. If you have a palm pilot or smart phone you can go to www.ereader.com to shop for books.
