I found out while on Yahoo Answers last night, I was saddened.

I was very sad. Although he left no true legacy behind in his presidency, he was a kind and gentle man who was thrust into a difficult presidency and situation without even any preparation. He handled it all with grace and dignity, and did the best he could with the mess that he was left with.

A lot of people would have imploded in that situation, but he did well with what he had. A full pardon for Nixon was questionable, in my opinion, but again, he handled that with grace under fire.

I was indeed saddened, but glad that he led a long and full life.

Well, the guy served as President, had a good wife and lived to be 93. He had a good run. It's sad when anyone dies, but that's part of life.

It was kind of a bummer. I didnt mind Ford at all.

He had, however, been going downhill lately in the health department and he was 93, so it wasnt totally unexpected.

He's dead???
Just kidding! It didn't really affect me. That sounds mean, but hey, I didn't know him. I wasn't even born while he was President! But it is sad that he died. I always think it's sad when someone dies. But he was 93 years old. He lived a good life.

Not that interested. His presidency wasn't that important in the grand scheme of the country. So, I guess it was like hearing a nice old man died. You say "oh, that's sad for his family" then you go on with your life.

It was sad, he was a good President during tough time in our nation's history.

I felt that his time had come. He was 93 years old, and his death was a fairly easy one. We should all be so lucky!!
