I have a MacBook Pro, so the USB port power level should be high enough, but when I leave my iPod plugged into the laptop overnight - it still isn't charged by the time I wake up! Can anyone help?

great suggestions - my laptop is on, and iTunes is up...

But I think that my computer goes into power save since I'm not actively using it after I go to bed. Maybe I need to just spring for a separate charger... :-(

You need to have your Laptop on. if you shut down the power supply to your Laptop the chance is your Ipod isnt charged properly. Rather , I prefer the Ipod dock it's easier to use or a speaker dock that automatically charges.

The laptop has to be turned on for there to be power in its USB port. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the i-Pod dock.
