Depends on the party- if it's a more formal affair, I (as a woman) would go with "the little black dress"... I have this short dark blue velvet number that looks pretty hot.... For a man, I'd suggest a button-up shirt (no tie), and dark slacks or khakis and a sports jacket (sports jacket= not matching the color of the pants)
If the party is more casual, I'd probably wear a nice shirt with nice jeans or slacks- comfort! I'd ask my hubby to wear something similar- no t-shirts, ratty jeans, etc.
Have fun, and don't get too drunk!
(to avoid a hangover- drink plenty of fluids before, and nurse one drink all night)

Blue. The more formal the occasion, the darker the hue.
Woman: Blue cocktail dress
Man: Play with patterns. Have one dominant pattern and a couple subtle ones. For example (if formal), a dark suit with subtle pin stripes (subtle), a plain striped blue collared shirt (subtle), and a super bold blue tie (dominant.) Don't get too crazy and add a personal touch with a pocket square.

I would wear a "little black dress", with an accent, like maybe a sequin shrug, or red high heels. For a man, I would recommend maybe pinstripe pants with a dress shirt.

A red or black dress. Red is a suductive color, while black is a sleek, sultry, sexy, sercretive color. I'd go with a sexy little black dress that shows a lot of leg and a little cleavage, but not too much leg...maybe mid-thiegh. For a man, I would go with a nice black suit and a red tie.
