Do you have to pay to play online on ur psp?

i jus got a psp and jus got the internet to work
and i have Madden 06 and i wanted to play online but i want to know if i have to pay or not

if u go to a coffee shop that makes u pay to use wifi then yes it does cost u but if your at home or at a friends house then it is free

no u can also go on internet pages like yahoo for instance on it. No online play is totally free except for the wireless internet
