Yes they cry about it! Teachers have hearts you know. The best ones regard their students similarly to there own children, and so if one dies they feel it very deeply!

It may be that people who have bonded through social interaction may have a hard time in dealing with such an event as the death of a student.
In my opinion teachers and others may react or display body language that would reveal their true character; for example a reaction of not shedding tears at such a saddening event may mean that a person does not want for other people to get the wrong message, and although their true emotions may beg for tears, their wills will prevail. Well I am not a teacher but I have witnessed my teachers mourning over the death of a schoolmate...Teachers are HUMAN so its pretty ususal for them to react to situations in the same manner as their students.

My robot teacher chip will not allow me to show empathy to students. Of course a teacher is hurt after the loss of a student.
