Considering that he is cheating on his wife with you, then he is the weak one. Why would you want to be with a man like that?
You stated that she won't kick him out, well, then, why doesn't he leave her? Again...weak. Perhaps he is now saying that he cannot leave her because of her "mental issues".
You also stated that she wanted to meet you, which leads me to believe that the two of you don't know each other. So, how do you know that anything he has told you is true? Because you and he have a "different kind of relationship"? You are simply sleeping with a married man. That is it.
Odds are...he's the chicken.
Best luck and take care. I hope everything works out for all three of you.

people that has low self esteem and feel inferior to others feel "unworthy" and have a constant fear, conscience of unconscience, of being abandoned, or left alone. she probably experience abandonment somewhere in here childhood that left here with that fear. these people dont love themselves and therefore require love and acceptance from others. they are even willing to stay in abusive situations instead of going thru more abandonment. they feel trapped cause they dont know what to do. they need friends to help them make the tough decisions. both of them should get some good counceling and if he is not will, then she should go and take a friend with her. the councelor will help her know what her options are and will help her with the self esteem issues and fear issues. . if her husband is unwilling to work on the relationship and quit going out on her, she will need to seperate for a time so they both can get their priorities straight. it is often too hard to make the tough decisions, when you are living with someone and there is alot of strive and argueing going on be there for her and help her make the right decisions.hope this helps.

better or worse means going thru the circumstances together no matter what.
being cheated on...it could be a test...if you've gone thru it. good for you. but if you almost ended up killing yourself, that's like a dead end in your relationship.(it's abusive or suicidal)
she might be caught in an abusive situation without the physical abuse...just the emotional.
she needs some Help.
intervention could help

I guess she thought about her vows that she had committed to when they got married i wouldn't say that she was chicken i would say that she had giving a lot of thought to what she was doing and realized that she had so much more to live for.

or better or for worse...everyone must decide their own limits... even the bible said honor your spouse.
i exceeded my for better or worse when my ex started treating my child badly and refused to get help.
ideally for better or worse means no matter what comes a couples way they will stay together.... but i think that is in the context of both partners giving their best to the marriage... cheating is not doin that... for better or for worse does not give one spouse the excuse to be an absolute *** to the other....

So you want a man who is cheating on his wife to leave and be with you? So he can cheat on you? Would it be easier to scratch your own heart out? Sleeping with him is one thing loving him is another. HE CHEATS ON HIS WIFE. HE LIES. You think you are so special he wouldn't lie to you? Your kitty is so sweet it can change the leopards spots? LOL

It means that unfortunately her self-esteem is so low that she cannot even imagine deserving something better out of life. Sad.

because some people are so afraid of being alone that they will 'put up with it' as long as he comes home (not my line of thinking at all), but it's a fairly common occurance.
