just wondering if we get any benefit from using a surge protection on our airport express wireless routers. my husband thinks it might be a good idea; I don't think that a power surge (say, from a lightning strike) can travel from the router to the computer without there actually be a physical connection.

Not possible to hurt your computer, but a power spike can hurt your router.....

you pc can get well zapped by a power surge yes my friend had that happen the router was took clean out and the pc with it always switch of pc befor you sleep or have to go out and unplug it and switch off ur router as well dont leave da power going to da pc when ur out or off to sleep and off the power to router as well power surge
is number 1 problem

no, electricity needs a medium to travel...it won't carry through a wireless signal...
