Oh definitely (cough, cough).

I like to play video games and I'm also gay. Therefore, it follows that all people who like video games are gay and my potential dating pool has now increased exponentially. Hooray!

=)

BTW, the answer to your question is really in the opening phrase, "my retarded friend asked me" although I do like rainbows (the actual things).

No.............I have worked with people with disabilities; and I am offended that you think they are "retarded." Anyway, they are people too and they deserve your respect. Obviously they need to know what a rainbow really represents. It does not represent gay or whatever it represents love. I am a strait person I do not want children to think of the rainbow as a gay symbol........its universal

Who is the retared person now?

Looks like you are the one coz you could not get over the fact

1. he/she is a down person and cant comprehen that people love rainbows are not necessary be gay/lesbian.

2. the attachement that the rainbow associates with the gay/lesbian community. Hence the linking of you with them.

Shows how poor your understanding of your friend here.

I am 100% straight, and I love rainbows. Rainbows were given to humanity after Noah's flood as a promise to never again destroy the Earth with water. The gay movement stole it from us, as well as the words "gay" and "queer." Gay used to mean that you were happy, and if something was queer, it was something strange.

So, the only thing I take concerning the rainbow is "offense" for its perversion.

Rainbows are not gay. It is in the Bible. It is a promise from God to Noah that there will not be anymore flooding like in Noah's Ark.
How can one of God's promises be gay?

Read Genesis, the 1 book of the Bible. It will share the story.

No, its not gay to enjoy beautiful things in this world that's why we have them. Rainbows and things like them make me very happy so guess if you use the word gay correctly (it means happy) I am gay. However in the sexual sense I am not a lesbian because I like to admire the wonderful sights that God gave us.

A Rainbow was a covenant from God with Noah that He would not flood the whole earth again. Your friend don't know they are talking about. It is so beautiful, and reminds me of God. You are not Gay. They are just crazy.

The rainbow is a Biblical symbol. Here's the story from the Bible.

Genesis 9:8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

17 So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."
