When will they not be sold out anymore? February? March? I really want to get one by March at least, when will the hype decrease?

Without any special effort (making friends with the BB staff, calling them regularly, giving them pedicures...), I'd say March would be the earliest that you could expect to be able to nab one casually; recent reports say that the Wii and PS3 shortages of the holidays could conceivably linger that long. However, there have been anecdotal reports of stores actually being *unable* to move their PS3 stock because no-one wants them (or no-one wants them yet, considering the limited game library; or no-one who wants them finds out about them).

Reports Are Saying That People Are Now Returning Their PS3s To Stores, Unopened, Due To The Not-Too-High-Priced Demand On eBay..
I Belive That Was The Case When I Went To Best Buy In Oahu After Christmas..
A Best Buy Employee Was Holding 2 (i believe they were returned) Near The Front (along with a balloon) Trying To Sell It Off, And Someone Just Literally Walked In, Got One From The Guy, And Payed For A PS3..
It All Just Depends On The The Location And Time Of The Best Buy..
Just Remember To Call In And Check If They Have Any PS3s. Doesn't Hurt To Ask Every So Often..

I think it's beginning to get easier to get the PS3. I was at the Landmark Best Buy near Fenway on Tuesday night, and I saw about 15 or so PS3 on in the aisle. I think the guy just bought it out. He said something about having too many things to do so he wasn't bringing the consoles out as often as he should.

It's gonna be a while, remeber when the 360 came out? it was still hard to get one in may-june.
