If you can't get the marble the exact size, you will need a water saw with a diamond blade to cut it. Then any good construction adhesive will hold it. Find a caulk to caulk the seams that is a complimentary or blending color and you are good to go! A dremel or other rotary saw with a little diamond blade makes cutting the holes for faucets or shower heads a snap. If you can't borrow one, you can rent one.
