I think Denver will offer him a reduced contract to stay as the backup. Before he takes that he'll check the free agent waters, he might sign on somewhere else if he finds a good deal.

As a starter, Oakland is the only shot. But there are plenty of places to go as a backup. Most likely, New York (either team), Kansas City, and maybe even Washington or New England.

We could see a trade in the offseason between Denver and Oakland that sees Plummer go to the Raiders in exchange for Porter or a draft pick.

proboly the Detroit Lions cuz Kitna isn't getting it done and he is at the end of his carrer but the only 2 things stand in Jake Plummers way of detroit 1. Orvolsosky the 2 year pro out of Conn and maybe that's the Lions future or 2. The negitive energy and high expectations in Detriot fans they want 2 win and fast and that may turn him away in free agency.

The Lions, Browns and Vikings all need a QB. But I think he'll go to the Texans, where he will compete with Carr for the top spot. He'll eventually lose, and become the backup there for the rest of his so-so career.

I heard once that he might be considering retirement next year. But if he don't he will go to any NFL team as a back up QB. Not unless that team is in need of a veteran QB to start right away.
