It is because you just came to yahoo answers. It gives you a point every time you visit, so if you asked a question from your yahoo toolbar or just asked a question as soon as you got to yahoo answers, it will tell you that you are down 4 points. 5 -1=4

It must have been your first question because they do give you
1 point for signing on once a day. So the first question might be -5=1=4. Other than that I don't understand it, that's Yahoo! for you.

Maybe they deduct 4 points for real questions and 5 points for goofy questions. Who knows?

in case you ask a question it takes away 5 factors, even nonetheless in case you %. a maximum suitable answer you get 3 factors back. so someplace alongside the line this is what you ought to have finished. plus for each question you answer you get 2 factors..wish to have cleared some issues up for you.

it use to be five...hmmmm...
but anyways, getting away from my thoughts...
they want to take away points because they think "hey you asked so we get points, you have to ask more questions to make our site more popular, so work for answering questions!!!com' on work for them"
but really I have no idea!
